Hold onto your trench coats and stiff upper lips—The 39 Steps is crashing into The TVP Colonnade Theater and it’s unlike anything you’ve seen before! What do you get when you mix a dash of Hitchcock, a splash of spy-thriller suspense, and a whole lot of slapstick comedy? A theatrical cocktail that’s shaken, stirred, and absolutely hilarious.

Meet 2 of our key cast members:
Michael Ellis is an experienced, versatile actor currently playing Richard Hannay in The 39 Steps. He trained at Marymount Manhattan College (BFA in Acting), specializing in voice, movement, improvisation, and various character dialects. Select stage credits include Misery, Rumors, The Glass Menagerie, and Angels in America.
Laurin Bixler (Annabella Schmidt/Pamela) is excited to be back at TVP for her fourth production. Previous TVP appearances include Shrek (Gingy/Sugar Plum Fairy) and Willy Wonka (Mrs. Bucket). Other favorite credits include Bat Boy (Ruthie/Ned), High School Musical (Gabriella), Bye Bye Birdie (Rosie), and Into the Woods (Cinderella).
A Message from our Vice-President (Past-President)
The Twin Valley Players is continuing to grow and expand each year. What initially started as a community theater in Halifax, PA, has become known regionally as a first rate Community Theater, providing what many of our patrons have said is on par with professional dinner theater in the region. The annual musical regularly costs more than $25,000 to stage, with additional moneys needed each year for the various other projects with which we are a part. The organization has been moving forward in the public eye, as well as behind the scenes. The volunteer board works to improve its function and effectiveness through on-going revisions and development of policies and procedures, and the organization continues to reach out with cooperative efforts with other non-profit organizations. This is an exciting time in the life of the organization, and we look forward to the growing cultural and educational impact we will have on the region.
